Lexington Home Brands Sues NJ Retailer

Lexington Furniture Industries, Inc. d/b/a Lexington Home Brands sued online retailer Sugar Stores, Inc. d/b/a Lexington Modern for trademark infringement, trademark dilution, unfair competition and cybersquatting in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey on May 25, 2012.  In its complaint, Lexington alleges that Sugar Stores is operating an online furniture retail enterprise using the domain name http://www.lexingtonmodern.com/ and selling furniture with a "Lexington" name, e.g., "Atlantic Furniture Lexington" computer desks, printer tables, etc.  Sugar Stores does not sell Lexington brand furniture on any of its websites.  The case is 2:12-cv-03133-FSH-PS (D.N.J.).
